Childhood friends since their teenage years, they formed a bond that, although paused by life’s diverging paths, never truly broke. Over the years, their friendship endured as a steady bridge connecting them.

In the unexpected whirlwind of 2020, their old spark rekindled with ‘electric intensity’, and this time, they knew it was meant to be. Even pandemic restrictions couldn’t dim their renewed connection; supermarket aisles turned into venues for romantic rendezvous. 'See you in aisle 10!' became their playful code in a world on hold.

The festive season set the stage for their unexpected proposal. After hosting a Christmas party at their home, Jenny and Bernard were tidying up when Bernard casually suggested that Jenny change into something nicer for a surprise drive. Still in her comfortable gym attire, Jenny thought little of it at first. However, the destination held deep significance for Bernard—the Royal National Park in Sydney.

This cherished spot, etched in his memory from childhood fishing trips with his family, was where he chose to propose. Bernard revealed the ring he had secretly held onto for seven months, expressing his desire for Jenny to become part of those treasured memories forever. The park, once a canvas of Bernard's past, now marked the beginning of their shared future.

Soaring Sydney venue prices prompted Jenny and Bernard to explore destination weddings. After all, with a similar budget, a stunning location outside of Australia became a possibility. This also offered them the opportunity for a more intimate celebration, allowing them to invite only their closest family and friends.

Bali emerged as the perfect choice. The island's compact size made it easy to navigate, with Jenny highlighting the convenience: "You're essentially a taxi ride away from the airport to the resort," a rarity in many holiday destinations. Plus, it was a new adventure for both of them, adding an element of excitement.

The on-site chapel at the resort stole Jenny's heart. An all-inclusive package meant minimal stress, as everything – from the venue to the planner – was seamlessly handled. They were particularly impressed with the planner's expertise and ability to anticipate their needs.

For Bernard, his favorite moment was seeing Jenny's stunning entrance, complete with her beautiful dress. For Jenny, walking into the chapel was magical, especially with her son as the ring bearer, creating an incredibly touching moment.

Jenny and Bernard envisioned a chic and understated wedding that would seamlessly complement the breathtaking natural beauty of Bali. Their vision prioritized white, simple flowers, allowing the island's stunning landscapes to be the true star.

They also incorporated a touch of local flair by including beautiful orchids and other tropical greenery. This blend of classic elegance and Balinese influence aimed to highlight the island's natural charm, ensuring their celebration felt authentic and harmonious with its surroundings.

The Glass House emerged as the ideal location for Jenny and Bernard's wedding. Pictures simply couldn't capture its true magnificence. Lush greenery surrounded the venue, creating an atmosphere of serenity. A crucial factor was its well-maintained air conditioning, a lifesaver in the Balinese humidity – especially during the rainy season.

The Glass House offered the perfect solution – a seamless blend of breathtaking outdoor beauty with the comfort and protection of an indoor space. No need to compromise on their vision! Their praise for the Tirtha team echoed this sentiment. While the initial sketches perfectly reflected their vision, the reality surpassed all expectations. Jenny couldn't help but be "blown away" by the final outcome.

The guests were equally impressed. The initial "wow" was apparent as they admired the charming chapel, setting the stage for what was to come. But that was just the beginning. Upon arriving at the venue itself, they were greeted with a breathtaking sight that left everyone marveling in awe.

The whole day was special, and they wished they could relive every moment. The only thing Jenny would change is not having pad thai the night before, which made her ill on the wedding day. Luckily, the Tirtha team was very accommodating and supportive.

Jenny advises future couples to 'have a vision ready and just go for it.' With the Tirtha team operating like a 'well-oiled machine,' she found no need for an external planner. Their flawless communication and scheduling allowed her to enjoy the day without concerns—they kept her constantly informed.

The crowning touch came from the Tirtha team's series of small, yet profoundly impactful gestures. Their attentiveness shone through as they not only helped pack up after the festivities but also formed an honorable line to bow, respectfully ushering Bernard and Jenny into their departure vehicle. This simple act of courtesy left the couple feeling genuinely valued. As they departed, it was clear that the team's subtle yet meaningful touches had elevated a beautiful event to a new standard of care and elegance.
