“Russel cried harder than me,” Finella laughed, recalling how deeply everyone felt the moment, despite the different languages spoken in the room. “It was a shared language of love.”

“We didn’t expect it to be an emotional wedding,” Finella shared, “but it was. Our ceremony in the heaven was unforgettable—intimate and heartfelt.” During the vows, the couple exchanged more than promises, they shared tears of joy with everyone present.

That dream came to life at Tirtha’s Glass House, where the setting felt like it was lifted straight from the film’s enchanting aesthetic. Accented with sage and white hues, the space exuded a serene, otherworldly charm.

The couple wanted their wedding to celebrate not just their union, but their heritage. Guests were treated to delicious Indonesian cuisine, with favourites like sop buntut taking center stage.

Tirtha’s team went above and beyond to ensure every palate was satisfied, accommodating a variety of dietary preferences without compromising flavor.“We saw plates being refilled multiple times, and guests even asked which restaurant supplied the food. They couldn’t believe it was all in-house.”

For Finella and Russel, their wedding was a true reflection of the life they had built together—one rooted in partnership, growth, and a shared vision of the future. “It was the happiest day for us,” Finella shared. “Everything turned out just the way we dreamed.”
