Bali Real Wedding

Wan Ting & Keefe

July 19, 2025

This bride’s Bali destination wedding radiated with pure romance. She chose a soft palette of pink and white, incorporating orchids into the decor as a graceful nod to her Singaporean roots, where they bloom as the national flower.

Wan Ting and Keefe’s story began during their university orientation and remained close as part of the same friend group. A few months in, Keefe found his feelings for her sneaking past friendship. The rare moments alone with her became his favourites. When he finally confessed, he was relieved to learn the feeling was mutual.

In 2024, the couple travelled to Jeju, Korea with friends, a trip meant for rest and laughter, but one that turned unforgettable. While driving along a quiet coastal road, with the ocean on one side and wildflowers swaying in the breeze, Keefe asked to pull over. The sky was breathtaking, the weather warm and clear. As Wan Ting admired the view, he turned to her and knelt on one knee.

Their friends, in on the secret, captured it all from a distance. Surrounded by the people who had witnessed their journey, it felt like the perfect beginning to the next chapter.

First Look

Later that year, Wan Ting and Keefe flew to Bali to feel the island’s weather during their planned wedding season. By July 2025, they returned to exchange vows, joined by 95 of their dearest friends and family for a heartfelt celebration.

“Weddings in Singapore tend to be huge. Guests mostly come to eat,” Wan Ting says. “But in Bali, it’s more intimate. It’s beautiful for everyone.”

The styling truly echoed her vision of romance. The palette—white, ecru, pale rose, and blush—set the tone for a celebration that felt contemporary and minimalist, with a feminine edge. Sculptural orchid arrangements brought structure to the otherwise fluid decor, while layers of chiffon added texture.

The ceremony aisle was lined with hydrangea and ruscus, softened by bleached florals arranged on pedestals, pieces thoughtfully repurposed throughout the day. At the altar, a textural mix of Ecuadorian roses, orchids, and anthuriums created a striking focal point, with varying heights adding depth and movement.

But what stood out most were the thoughtful details: sunglasses for guests, hangover kits flown in from Singapore, drawing books to keep the kids entertained, and handwritten letters at each seat to thank every guest personally.

For couples planning from afar, she offers simple advice: trust the team. You may not see the full vision from a distance, but they’ll deliver. She didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day. “Even after one too many drinks,” she laughs, “the team packed up our things and handled everything. The whole day was smooth sailing, they really let us enjoy the day.”
