Months later, something shifted. A slow afternoon spent exploring a market, no grand gestures, just two introverts finding comfort in shared simplicity.

Eight years of love followed, and while family and friends gently asked “When’s the wedding?”, Patty had a feeling something was coming. Davarone proposed on a quiet boat ride in Venice, as the August sun sank behind the water. Intimate, romantic, and almost dreamlike.

When it came time to plan, Patty knew she wanted something far from the ordinary. Bali called to her spirit, and when they discovered the Glass House, everything clicked. The venue felt like their own little world, tucked in nature, open to the sky.

Patty dreamed of a garden-inspired celebration rooted in natural beauty. Tirtha’s Glass House, wrapped in tropical foliage and open skies, was the perfect canvas.

The bride walked the aisle in a long silk gown with a deep V-neckline and bishop sleeves, her veil trailing behind like a whisper. Davarone stood waiting in a sharp black tuxedo and bow tie, boutonnière mirroring the blooms she carried.

Bridesmaids in soft pastels added pops of colour to the overall palette, balancing the scene with vibrance.

At the altar, a floral centerpiece spilt with colour and shape, echoed by delicate bud vases and runners of blooms across the tables. Warm candlelight flickered through the reception. Understated yet heavenly.

Grand Entrance

Working with Tirtha’s planning team was a standout part of the journey. “We honestly weren’t expecting that level of service,” Patty says. “They were so attentive, every detail was spot-on, responses were always timely, and the wedding day was just… perfect. Ten times better than we imagined.”

Their advice to other couples? Hire a planner you trust. “They took care of everything, even made sure we ate,” she laughs.
