Their journey to Bali began months earlier when Marcus carefully coordinated the proposal with Maha’s friends. They chose a group trip to Portugal, hiring a photographer who posed as a tour guide. Everyone was in on the plan—except for Maha.

When the moment arrived, the group spoke in code and took their places as Marcus dropped to one knee. Her surprise turned into joy, setting the stage for their wedding adventure.

Bali had been on the bride’s bucket list for as long as she could remember, and with three wedding events to plan, she wanted one to take place in a setting that would leave lasting memories for everyone.

She discovered Tirtha by chance, but it was exactly what she had envisioned—a picturesque cliffside venue. “I didn’t want a beach or jungle setting,” she shared, “The glass architecture at Tirtha offered a clean, modern look that completed the dramatic ocean views.”

When it came to the aesthetic, Maha didn’t have a rigid theme in mind; she simply wanted an abundance of flowers and bright colors. “The team truly worked their magic,” she said, bringing her vision to life with a stunning display.

Planning the wedding was a seamless experience for the couple. “The planner was a gem,” Maha recalled. “Some brides know exactly what they want, but for those who only have ideas, like me, they make sure you’re taken care of. All I had to do was answer a few questions and check in from time to time. It was stress-free and hands-off.”

The floral decor plays a role in adding vibrancy and texture to the setting. The bold combination of deep red, bright pink, and blush tones breathes life into the space, while the cascading fringe chandelier provides a striking focal point that ties the modern and romantic elements together.

The use of glass elements, such as the chapel's transparent structure and the reception’s large windows, invites natural light to flood the space. The clean lines and sleek architecture lend a contemporary aesthetic that contrasts beautifully with the boldness of the floral arrangements.

The reception area continues the theme, with suspended drapery and crystal chandeliers creating a luxurious ambiance that balances with the garden-inspired floral accents.

The couple’s wedding day was filled with spectacular moments. A Balinese fire dance captivated guests, and fireworks lit up the night, creating a scene straight out of a dream.
