You maybe know which area in Bali is the best to stay for you Two if you have been to Bali before while for those who have not, you need to think which area you are going stay in, and it's about what you will do during your stay in Bali other than wedding.
Dine around the famous restaurants? Feel the breeze at beach club? Spoil yourself at Spa? So many options you can choose here in Bali.
Since most Wedding Couples have their wedding first then continue their honeymoon afterwards, you may choose the accommodation close to your wedding venue until the wedding is over then move to other area to enjoy the rest of days of your honeymoon.
Travel Planning 1
What you should make first of all is your wedding day. Then whole travel itinerary afterwards. We recommend you to NOT have any wedding related schedule on your arrival day in Bali in case of the flight delay.
Most wedding couples have the wedding rehearsal and the technical meeting with the Wedding Planner on their 2nd day in Bali, and set the Day on 3rd day or later.
We also recommend you to choose your accommodation close to your wedding venue, until all wedding event is over. Many booking sites you can check, but if you already have your own Wedding Planner then you can ask his/her suggestion by telling them your request and budget.

Here we will show you step by step procedure of the Travel Planning.
- First of all set your Wedding Date.
- Set the arrival date based on your Wedding Date.
- Set the departure date based on how long you could have the vacation.
- Calculate your budget per person of the airfare and accommodation.
- Once set your budget per night then search and fix the accommodation close to your wedding venue.
- If you plan to move to other area after your wedding then search and fix the next destination and the accommodation.
- Also need to consider the transportation arrangement Airport = Hotel, and/or Hotel next Hotel.

There are several popular traveler areas in Bali where each area has the different characteristic. It's important to know each characteristics when you decide where the area you will stay in. List what you want to do during your holiday in Bali other than wedding then you will know the area you should choose.

Uluwatu & Ungasan

Nusa Dua & Jimbaran
Nusa Dua is the luxury tourist area that was developed by Indonesian government. Then Jimbaran is the designed as the high-class resort area after Nusa Dua's success. Both Nusa Dua and Jimbaran have many of 5-star luxury hotels where is perfect place for those who want to enjoy relaxing resort time.
Most hotels in this area are well-known famous hotels therefore you may feel safe during your stay. Since they are large size hotel with big number of rooms, if you have many attendee and everyone to stay in the same hotel then this area must be a good choice. This area has less restaurant, café, or beach club therefore you may need to cross over the areas by hiring a car.
Seminyak & Kerobokan
This is Bali's most stylish area where lots of fascinating restaurants, café and shops are waiting for you. Because of the heavy traffic occurred frequently, the area are now getting bigger and wider to north, not only Seminyak and Kerobokan but until Canggu is developed as a part of this exciting area. You will never get bored in this area, with various beach clubs, restaurants, clubs and more fun places.
One of the best way to enjoy this area is watch the stunning sunset while having the cocktail at the cozy beach side restaurant & bar.
There are many choices of small villa however less large sized hotel in this area. If you plan to stay in this area with large number of attendee you need to find several separate accommodations where is nearby each other.
Kuta & Legian
Kuta is Bali's most famous beach resort area from long ago, and Legian is the next to Kuta.Both are very lively areas with many surfers and souvenir shops along the beach.
This is the best place for the shopping lovers where many of small shops and large shopping malls all together. You can enjoy the shopping without go for far.
Accommodation range is very various in this area from back packer hotel to luxury hotel, you can find your preferred place depend on your budget. Yet, less large sized hotel in this area forces you to book some hotels separately for your large number of guests.
Ubud
While other areas are all in South, or beach resort area, this Ubud is the mountain site. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful landscape is the most attraction of this nature resort area, includes the famous Rice Terraces as the World Heritage. Ubud is also known as 'Art Village' because of their unique traditional music, dances, paintings, etc. Lately known as 'power spot' for the people who loves Yoga, and many people comes to Ubud for Yoga experience from all over the world.
Ubud is a small resort area not like others, but has a strong unique originality which attracts. many travelers. Since Ubud is quite far from the airport, where needs more than 90 minutes drive, you maybe better consider to stay this area as the 2nd destination after your wedding is over, unless your wedding venue will be Ubud.

Hotels & Private Villas
Accommodation in Bali is mainly 2 categories; Hotels and Private Villas. Hotels have various selections of its grade, number of rooms, price, which makes you can choose from cheap hotel to luxury hotel. Because of this wide range of selection, most of traveler choose the hotel as their place to stay in Bali.
On the other hand recently many of private villas are open in Bali and there you can experience the extraordinary time with your beloved people in the completely private space. Most of private villas offer the guest only the accommodation, but no complete service or hospitality is inclusive like hotels have. You may need add some services at your own, like hiring a car with driver, to make your stay more comfortable.

Most Bali weddings have many attendees; therefore, this type of travel is much different from a regular family trip. You want to eat at the restaurant with your group of 20? You need to ask the restaurant first if the table for 20 is available, once you book the table now you need to arrange the transportation for 20. Normally the wedding couple yourself do all of these arrangement as the host, but this is quite hard work which take lots of your time! You may get stressed when anything goes wrong.
