The Pre-Ceremony
The couple moved to different parts of the world to pursue their studies, only to find each other and fall in love all over again nearly a decade later.
“One fine day, his mother told him that I was also in town. We decided to meet after so many years, and the first thing he told me was, ‘I will marry you’,” the bride shares.
The Ceremony at Glass House | Hindu Wedding
The Indonesian actress and Bali resident Jessica Iskandar recommended Tirtha to Jeena, as the former hosted her birthday celebration at the clifftop venue in January of this year. But she didn’t choose Tirtha solely for the beautiful landscape but also for the ‘trust that everything would be done with perfection and attention to detail’, as she expressed in her own words.
Jeena and Sagar’s special day is celebrated in pops of blue, from light, bright to deep hue,
complementing the tropical feel, and perfectly harmonizing amidst lush greenery.
Jeena is seen in a showstopper of a bridal saree for the Pheras ceremony a ritual where
the bride and groom take rounds around the holy fire during the nuptials. She looks glowing in red while Sagar balances it out with a traditional Indian formal suit in off-white. His groomsmen also bring it home delicately with white, beige, and peach tones.
“Bali is a magical place. The soul and warmth of Bali bring together love. There was no other
place we could have imagined to have our wedding.”
White and light blue drapery adorned the Mandap at the Moonlight Garden in Glass House, white roses and blue hydrangeas complemented the elegant ceremony setup.
Couple's Photo Tour
For the reception and cocktail party, the evening exudes the utmost elegance conjured by blue
hues from the wedding venue’s decor to the couple’s attire.
The Reception at Tirtha Uluwatu
Grand Entrance
White anthuriums and bundles of baby’s breath flowers elevate the dinner tables while preserving a minimalistic look.
First Dance
“With the sudden rain on the main event day, everything was very spontaneous on the day even though we had planned everything to the tee. Despite that, everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding, and it was definitely picture-perfect,” the bride gushes.
The After Party at Tirtha Uluwatu
The festivities continued through the night with live entertainment, complete with a saxist. Jeena looks drop-dead gorgeous in her dazzling dress and white sneakers on the dance floor. Only joy, laughter, and of course, love is in the air.
