The Preparation at Glass House

During their sophomore year, Taigen noticed Mina for her laughter that would light the classroom with sunshine. Mina, in turn, found his shy jealousy endearing, a sweet note in their blossoming romance.

Their early days were joyful, from their first yakiniku date to holding hands, hearts pounding, under the Enoshima fireworks. "In the crowd, we held hands nervously along the beach. That memory remains vivid in my mind,” Mina reminisced.

Fast forward to the proposal, a surprise for both! While they browsed the jewelry shops together, Taigen secretly purchased the perfect ring, confident it was safely hidden at home. But Mina, ever observant, stumbled upon a hidden clue – a diamond certificate peeking out from its hiding spot. This discovery, coupled with her playful reminder that other options awaited her if they weren’t married by her 26th birthday, prompted Taigen to act then and there.

Mina, dreaming of a romantic hotel proposal with a stunning night view, had a feeling about the timing, but reality unfolded differently.

To her surprise, Taigen orchestrated a proposal at home. Rose petals blanketed the floor, a collage of cherished memories adorned the wall, and a dozen roses, each symbolizing his devotion, awaited her. Mina was especially touched by this thoughtful detail. Taigen, who rarely surprised her, had not only pulled off a surprise proposal but also took the time to research the language of flowers, ensuring each of the twelve roses perfectly conveyed his emotions.

The couple’s original plan for a graduation trip to Bali became a distant dream due to the pandemic. Yet, the island’s allure persisted, not just for a getaway, but for a more permanent vow. Their quest for the perfect wedding venue led them to Tirtha, a place that mirrored their love for nature.

Second Proposal - Before the Ceremony

Early in the planning process, Taigen approached Planner (Azu) privately with a special idea—he wanted to surprise Mina with a second proposal just before their wedding. Knowing how much she loves baby’s breath, he asked Planner (Azu) to prepare a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and baby’s breath for the occasion.

On the wedding day, after the families had their emotional first meet, Taigen gave Mina the surprise bouquet in front of their parents. She was very surprised, it was Taigen who ended up crying instead of Mina. It was a truly touching moment that added so much depth to their day.
The Ceremony at Glass House | Garden Wedding

Sharing a love for nurturing plants, Taigen and Mina begin every morning by watering their leafy companions, often venturing out together to find new additions. Naturally, being surrounded by the lush greenery and serene ambiance at Tirtha resonated deeply with them. The venue’s natural beauty, with its emerald foliage and tranquil setting, made it the perfect backdrop for their wedding.

Another standout moment was the "secret ring box" experience they thoughtfully prepared for their guests. Before the ceremony began, each guest was invited to pick up a sealed ring box. During the ring exchange, Planner (Azu) asked everyone to open theirs—and to everyone's surprise, 2 guests found the couple’s real wedding rings inside and instantly became the ring bearers.

Throughout the planning, Taigen and Mina always prioritized how to create an unforgettable experience for their guests, not only for the couple. This unexpected twist made everyone feel like a meaningful part of the ceremony.

At Tirtha, Hara-san, the wedding planner, quickly earned their trust with her genuine warmth and intuitive understanding. “We felt we could trust her completely,” the bride remarked. Azu’s dedication and attentiveness turned their vision into a reality that far exceeded their wildest dreams. Unlike impersonal planners, she listened intently and executed their desires with precision, making their special day truly unforgettable.

The wedding theme, “Ataisenkin” (Worth a Thousand Coins) and “Shiawase no Tame ni Ikiteiru Dake sa” (Living Just for Happiness), captured the couple’s profound gratitude to their loved ones. Inspired by songs from their favorite band, SUPER BEAVER, the theme conveyed a message of cherishing happiness together with family and friends.
The Reception at Glass House

The venue’s natural beauty was accentuated by the bespoke floral arrangements by Hanamizuki, reflecting the couple’s love for plants. Anthurium flowers, symbolizing hospitality and happiness, further enhanced the welcoming atmosphere. A touch of orange, Mina’s birthday color, added a vibrant note to the décor.

The wedding itself was a beautiful celebration of love and gratitude. The ceremony flowed into a garden reception reminiscent of an enchanting forest fairytale. Soft lights dangled from above like twinkling stars, casting a gentle glow that created a magical ambiance. The greenery’s rich, emerald hues contrasted beautifully with the vibrant blossoms and tablescapes, enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
The bridal table, adorned with cascading green foliage and delicate flowers, served as a stunning centerpiece. Sheer white drapes fluttered softly in the evening breeze, adding an ethereal touch to the setting. Guests were enchanted by the scene, with the soft rustling of leaves and the gentle flicker of candlelight creating an intimate and whimsical mood.

For Mina, two moments stood out as her absolute favorites. The picturesque view from the bridal table was a constant source of delight and awe. Equally special was Taigen’s second proposal, a heartfelt gesture that reaffirmed their commitment and love for each other.
Surrounded by family and friends, the proposal was a deeply emotional highlight, capturing the essence of their relationship and the significance of the day–memories that Mina would hold dear forever.

Cake Cutting
Taigen once again expressed their profound gratitude to everyone present, noting that the wedding ceremony and reception exceeded their expectations. They felt incredibly grateful to Azu-san and the entire Tirtha team, who made everything perfect, allowing them to relax and enjoy their special day. Azu-san’s dedication, creativity, and understanding were instrumental in making their dream wedding a reality.

For couples dreaming of a unique wedding experience in Bali, the magic of Tirtha stands as a testament to what is possible. Mina fondly spoke of the venue’s extraordinary ambiance, highlighting the breathtaking views and the planners’ dedication to creating a wedding that reflects each couple’s personality and dreams.
