According to the couple, Tirtha Uluwatu was the perfect place to have their wedding ceremony. They loved the sea view from the top of cliff and could think of no other place to tie the knot.

Melia walked down the aisle, strewn with fresh frangipanis and was accompanied by two flower girls dressed in traditional Balinese gowns. Melia herself was wearing a dress by Indonesian designer Lily Sasongko, adorned with intricate lace designs and fitted perfectly to her body.

Suwandi was wearing a handsome dark blue tuxedo with a boutonniere made of roses. He stood at the end of the aisle, in front of the offering table, waiting for his bride.

Their Buddhist ceremony attended by their family and close friends was a very emotional one, but in the end, it was an amazing day for the two lovebirds.“I could cry happy tears right now” Suwandi remembers when he saw Melia walk towards him down the aisle.

Their reception at the Glass House was decorated with stunning lights overhanging with greenery, gorgeous white roses and lisianthus. Melia wanted the decoration to be simple and elegant but still with the Glass House’s botanical theme. The centerpieces on the dining tables were the final touch to the overall theme of the Bali wedding. Family and friends feasted through the evening accompanied by laughter and good food.

The food was delicious! My husband loved the pumpkin soup and I enjoyed the desserts,” Melia said of creations by Chef Kano and his team. She added that the guests had a blast and enjoyed the rest of the night. “Hanging out with friends or lovers for lunch or dinner are my happy moments. From simple things we do to the big things we do all together.”
