Bali Real Wedding
Fenesha & Kevin
Mar 12, 2022
It all began with a direct message in 2018. Fenesha and Kevin shared mutual friends but had never met in person. She lived in Orlando, Florida so Kevin had to make the first move online. Her best friends and bridesmaids met him to test the waters on her behalf, and when they gave her the green light, Kevin was introduced to Fenesha’s family.

They met for the first time at the Terminal 3 arrival gate in Jakarta nearly a year after their first virtual encounter. Two and a half years after his first message, Kevin proposed.
The Preparation

There is beauty in simplicity. Fenesha and Kevin proved that a minimalist, monochromatic wedding is timeless. With elegant black, white, and gray colors, touched with sophisticated details, and an intimate guest list, all the attention was pointed to the happy couple— and deservedly so.

“He proposed by cooking me dinner. He’d never cooked anything in his entire life before!” the bride shared.
The Ceremony at Tirtha Uluwatu | Chapel Wedding

The couple fell in love with Tirtha’s wedding venues, even from a distance, by scrolling through social media. They wanted a change of scenery from the ballroom celebration typically done in their hometown Jakarta, so they had their eyes set on the iconic Glass Chapel offered by the Bali wedding planners. The couple exchanged their vows under crystal draping chandeliers while overlooking the cerulean sea— bliss!

Your wedding day should celebrate and showcase your personal style. In this case, Fenesha opted for an effortless draped silk slip dress that gifted her natural radiance. Her bridesmaids fashioned a muted gray look, exuding understated elegance as Fenesha’s backdrop.
The Reception at Glass House

“It’s spacious, and the architecture met our preferences (the Chapel and the Glass House).
We wanted a semi-outdoor wedding venue, so we wouldn’t have to worry about rain,” Fenesha said.

Table Setup
While other brides and grooms thrive on being the prime focus for their big day, throwing a small-scale celebration was the perfect decision for Fenesha and Kevin.

Grand Entrance
The contrasting colors of gray-black and white on the bride and groom married in perfect harmony, subtly accentuating the evening and turning the spotlight on the newlyweds with such grace. Anyone would fall in love with the sophistication of their monochromatic Bali wedding.

Cake Cutting
“We knew everyone and didn’t feel awkward being the center of attention for the entire night.”

“The Tirtha team felt like a part of our family, even the vendors. We felt the love throughout the day from everyone.”

First Dance
The couple loved how the team handled their inquiries and requests. When asked about the highlights, Fenesha gave the spotlight to Jasmine Karan, the wedding planner. “She responded to our email and did the follow-ups without being too pushy or aggressive,” she shared with us. The bride and groom landed on Tirtha for their Bali destination wedding thanks in part to Jasmine.
However, of course, Uluwatu's beauty was a given, even just by looking at the wedding venues virtually.
